Publishing Virtual Events
As part of the Pathful Connect (former Nepris) Live Virtual Industry Chats initiative, professionals from different industries can share their expertise with students in various grade levels to foster their learning. These sessions allow the youth to learn about that particular area, what happens behind the scenes, ask questions regarding that subject, and expand their horizons.
I have participated in a few online educational sessions on children’s reading and publishing.
Reading Interests – This session aimed to help teen writers learn about the publishing industry and its projections. So, I discussed the publishing industry for teens, how they could get their work out there as young writers, and how they would go about ideas for publication.
